Description

You will manage and optimize complex Oracle Database environments with a focus on high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Oracle RAC clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Perform advanced performance tuning using Statspack and AWR reviews to resolve bottlenecks.
• Manage Oracle databases hosted on AWS RDS, including migration and optimization tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support database infrastructure and data integrity.
• Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration.
• 10+ years of experience managing Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters).
• Expert-level proficiency in Oracle performance tuning methodologies.
• Deep understanding of Statspack and Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) analysis.
• 5-6 years of experience working with AWS RDS for Oracle.
• Strong background in database migration strategies and execution.
• Ability to work effectively in a contract-based environment (C2C/1099).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Exadata infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Oracle GoldenGate for replication and synchronization.
