Description

You will own the stability, performance, and evolution of Oracle database infrastructure, managing environments from legacy 12c to modern 19c deployments.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive bottleneck analysis, SQL tuning, and proactive health checks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Manage seamless patching, upgrades, and migrations across Oracle versions 12c through 19c with minimal business disruption.
• Configure and maintain Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Develop scripts and automation processes to standardize routine maintenance and improve system predictability.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for developers and stakeholders, translating complex metrics into actionable insights.

Required Skills

• 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience with Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c architecture.
• Mastery of AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues.
• Proven track record of upgrading and migrating databases across versions.
• Strong understanding of Oracle security features, including TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) and user auditing.
• Experience working within Agile or DevOps frameworks alongside multiple engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating in both On-Premise and Cloud/Hybrid environments.
• Ability to communicate technical risks effectively across diverse, non-technical departments.
