Description

Manage and optimize Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server environments across on-premise and AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for multi-engine database systems.
• Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions including RAC, Data Guard, and Always On.
• Execute backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and pgBackRest to ensure data integrity.
• Drive cloud migration and automation initiatives using Terraform and CloudFormation for AWS RDS, Aurora, and Lambda.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional DBA experience with strong production support capabilities.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Database administration and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL Server management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including RDS, Aurora, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Strong scripting skills for automation and infrastructure management.
• Practical knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Proven track record in HA/DR implementation and backup/recovery procedures.
