Description

You will own the design, performance, and availability of Oracle Database environments in an enterprise setting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and tune database schemas, access patterns, and locking strategies for high-performance applications.
• Modify database structures and update existing objects to meet evolving application requirements.
• Implement and support Oracle databases on AWS and Linux platforms, including Exadata and ASM.
• Configure, monitor, and manage Oracle Cache, storage allocation, and future capacity planning.
• Design and implement backup, restore services, and disaster recovery solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of demonstrable experience in Oracle Database design, tuning, and enterprise support.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of Exadata hardware/software components, including storage cells, InfiniBand, and Smart Scan.
• Experience with Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and storage planning.
• Ability to design and implement backup/restore services and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience installing, upgrading, and patching Oracle database software.
• Experience configuring and managing Oracle Cache and database server performance.
