Description

Manage and optimize large-scale Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database installations, configurations, and high availability solutions including RAC, RAC One Node, and Data Guard.
• Analyze, enhance, and optimize PL/SQL scripts provided by development teams to ensure performance on large datasets.
• Perform instance, database, and query tuning to improve application performance.
• Manage database maintenance and recovery using Oracle RMAN and GoldenGate.
• Write detailed technical documentation and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for all assigned projects.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Extensive expertise in PL/SQL programming and database architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate and RMAN.
• Strong knowledge of high availability technologies such as RAC and Data Guard.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Solaris operating systems and shell scripting.
• Understanding of SAN technologies related to SQL Server disk layouts.
• Experience with Change Management procedures in enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
