Description

You will own the development and administration of trading platforms, translating business needs into technical scope.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for trading platforms, interfacing with stakeholders on functionality planning.
• Analyze functional requirements to define the scope of technical work.
• Conduct database administrative tasks to support production and QA/Development systems.
• Design and write PL/SQL and SQL code to solve specific business problems.
• Identify and execute opportunities to optimize and fine-tune database systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle database development.
• Extensive expertise in PL/SQL, including Triggers, Packages, Functions, Procedures, Complex SQL, Oracle Collection, and Object Types.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Query tuning and understanding query plans.
• 2+ years of experience with Unix shell programming.
• 2+ years of experience with Perl programming.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting databases in high-performance, multi-user applications.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with Oracle RAC.
