Description

Design and optimize equity product systems, database schemas, and PL/SQL code for electronic trading and order handling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement relational database schemas for equity products and instruments.
• Write, review, and optimize complex PL/SQL code and SQL queries.
• Manage data related to FIX protocol, market data, and reference data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within electronic trading and order handling systems.
• Collaborate with teams to support equity market structure requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle and PL/SQL development.
• Extensive experience with relational database design and management.
• Deep understanding of equity products, market structure, and order handling.
• Practical knowledge of FIX protocol and market/reference data.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex financial systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for all organizational levels.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redshift, Postgres, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies.
