Description

Manage Oracle Exadata and Linux environments in AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across Development, Test, and Production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize database schemas, tables, indexes, and application structures.
• Perform database performance tuning at the Oracle database and Exadata storage layers, including SQL optimization.
• Install, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database software and Exadata components.
• Administer Oracle Data Guard for High Availability and Disaster Recovery, and support Oracle GoldenGate replication.
• Manage Oracle ASM storage, monitor disk groups, and handle backup and recovery operations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Exadata administration and strong knowledge of Exadata architecture (Storage Cells, Smart Scan, InfiniBand, HCC).
• 5+ years of Oracle ASM administration and storage management.
• 3+ years of Oracle Database installation, patching, and upgrades (PSU, DBRU, Release Updates, Exadata patches).
• 2+ years of Exadata and Oracle database performance tuning.
• Strong expertise in database schema design, SQL performance tuning, indexing, locking strategies, and query optimization.
• Experience troubleshooting Oracle databases, Linux OS, and Exadata storage issues.
• Proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)/Cloud Control and strong SQL development skills.
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Oracle databases hosted on AWS.
