Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Design and implement scalable database solutions by translating stakeholder requirements into technical specifications. Optimize existing business processes through automation and workflow improvements using Oracle-centric strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL code for data engineering and application support.
• Lead client-facing projects and manage offshore development teams effectively.
• Document functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for incoming requests.
• Assist users and development teams with application testing, data validation, and troubleshooting.
• Create end-to-end process documentation, database procedures, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of database modeling, data profiling, and data quality management.
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting and Python for automation tasks.
• Proficiency with Vertica database and workload scheduling tools like Autosys.
• Proven track record of managing offshore teams and delivering client-facing projects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration.
