Description

You will design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL solutions within a hybrid onsite environment in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance Oracle PL/SQL code using 12c or 19c features such as Analytical functions, Merge statements, WITH clauses, and Table partitioning.
• Implement robust job logging, exception handling, and performance tuning strategies to ensure system reliability.
• Analyze and resolve data discrepancies within the Data Warehouse environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize query performance for large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver scalable database solutions.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total software development experience.
• 12+ years of strong development experience using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Deep expertise with Oracle 12c or 19c database versions.
• Proven experience in a Data Warehouse environment (5+ years).
• Strong analytical skills for resolving data discrepancies.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Table partitioning and Merge statements.
