Description

Design and deliver scalable database solutions by translating stakeholder requirements into technical implementations. Lead client-facing projects and manage offshore teams to drive Oracle-centric optimizations, automation, and workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes to identify and implement database optimizations and automation strategies.
• Gather and document functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for new development requests.
• Assist users and development teams with application testing, data validation, and troubleshooting Oracle and Vertica database processes.
• Document end-to-end processes, database procedures, workflow logic, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of database modeling, data profiling, and data quality management.
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting and Python.
• Proficiency with Vertica database systems.
• Experience with workload scheduling tools, specifically Autosys.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing projects and manage offshore teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a client-facing capacity with diverse stakeholders.
