Description

Design, build, and optimize Oracle database schemas and PL/SQL components for production applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Tune complex SQL queries to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
• Automate database and system tasks using Linux KornShell scripting and cron scheduling.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and troubleshooting using awk, sed, and grep.
• Manage database code using ADO Repos and support CI/CD deployments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong background in database design principles and data modeling.
• Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience designing robust Linux KornShell scripts and cron scheduling.
• Proficiency with text parsing utilities like awk, sed, and grep.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (ADO Repos).
• Knowledge of database security best practices and production support.
• Experience working in SAFe/Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in Discrete, Manufacturing, or Aero industries.
