Description

Convert mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL and develop Java UI components for ongoing maintenance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Convert mainframe SAS workflows to Oracle SQL/PLSQL for seamless migration.
• Design and develop Oracle-based data-processing logic to optimize business operations.
• Create and support Java UI components for process maintenance and user interaction.
• Utilize Python to automate tasks, handle data processing, and support migration activities.
• Collaborate with the technology manager on project planning, reporting, and delivery oversight in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PLSQL development.
• Proven experience in data migration projects.
• Experience supporting or converting Mainframe SAS workflows to modern platforms.
• Working proficiency with Python for automation and data handling.
• Familiarity with Java-based applications and supporting UI development.
• Experience using JIRA or similar workflow management tools.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
