Description

You will manage, configure, and maintain PACS software systems to ensure high reliability and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and deploy PACS enterprise applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures, software glitches, and network problems in complex environments.
  • Integrate PACS with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other clinical applications.
  • Provide technical support and training to radiologists, technicians, and medical staff.
  • Enforce security measures to protect patient data and maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with program directors and stakeholders to design solutions aligned with governance and project plans.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience managing PACS applications.
  • Proven experience working with PACS systems in a dental setting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with PACS vendor application administration and complex data integrations.
  • Proficiency with DICOM standards.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.
  • Experience meeting regulatory standards for The Joint Commission (TJC) and the American College of Radiology (ACR).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in highly complex environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) certification.
