Description

You will execute the installation, configuration, and deployment of Palo Alto Networks firewalls across physical, cloud, and operational technology environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and deploy Palo Alto physical firewalls on-site, providing ongoing operational support during the initial deployment period.
• Deploy and configure two Palo Alto virtual firewalls in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure connectivity across multiple environments.
• Configure GlobalProtect connectivity, VPN tunneling, and Strata Cloud Manager or Panorama for centralized management.
• Implement new firewall architecture and integrate Prisma Access capabilities.
• Create and implement application programming interfaces to support automation and integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including physical installation and configuration.
• Proven experience deploying Palo Alto virtual firewalls in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewall deployment practices, and operational technology environments.
• Experience configuring virtual private network tunneling, GlobalProtect, and Prisma Access.
• Familiarity with Strata Cloud Manager or Panorama for centralized management.
• Ability to create and implement APIs for automation and integration.
