Description

You will own the end-to-end processing and accuracy of the payroll cycle.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly, multi-state domestic Exempt and Non-exempt payrolls for assigned groups by deadline.
• Reconcile payroll tax deposits and remittances to government and third parties accurately and on time.
• Perform comprehensive review of employee time entries, securing necessary approvals.
• Guide employees, timekeepers, and supervisors on payroll issues and regulatory compliance.
• Calculate retroactive/adjusted pay and verify deductions, garnishments, and Sec. 125 plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in multi-state US payroll and payroll tax filing/garnishment processing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with a third-party tax vendor, preferably ADP.
• Experience processing in-house payroll and exposure to other payroll platforms.
• Expert attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Advanced PC skills across MS Office Suite.
• FPC or CPP certification.
• Ability to resolve issues and meet commitments and deadlines.
