Description

You will own the end-to-end processing and accuracy of the bi-weekly payroll cycle for multi-state domestic exempt and non-exempt groups.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payrolls for assigned groups, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Reconcile payroll tax deposits and remittances to government entities and third parties accurately.
• Review employee time entries and secure necessary approvals from supervisors and timekeepers.
• Calculate retroactive pay, verify deductions, garnishments, and Section 125 plan contributions.
• Guide employees and management on payroll issues and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in multi-state US payroll processing.
• Experience with payroll tax filing and garnishment processing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency with third-party tax vendors, preferably ADP.
• Experience processing in-house payroll and exposure to other payroll platforms.
• Advanced PC skills across the MS Office Suite.
• FPC or CPP certification.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
