Description

Senior PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant supporting financial and budget system modernization.

Responsibilities

  • Define system scope and objectives by analyzing user needs and business processes.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed system requirement specifications.
  • Design and develop data extraction, translation, and load programs.
  • Coordinate programming activities and resolve design or feasibility issues with application development teams.
  • Develop new business processes and programming solutions for technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in technical design and hands-on coding within large, complex systems.
  • Deep technical knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll, Commitment Accounting, and Position Management.
  • Proven experience developing data extraction, translation, and load programs.
  • Expertise in integrating diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM.
  • Ability to convey complex technical and functional concepts to executive-level users.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, or PeopleSoft FSCM.
  • Experience with U.S. Federal installations of PeopleSoft.
  • Understanding of Budgeting and Position Management within State and Local government environments.
