Description

You will lead performance engineering efforts to ensure application scalability, stability, and efficiency.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define performance testing objectives, strategies, and non-functional requirements with business and IT stakeholders.
• Develop workload models, infrastructure, performance simulators, and test bench components.
• Design, execute, and report on capacity, scalability, stability, and stress tests across product teams.
• Create maintainable performance test scripts and conduct scheduled testing cycles.
• Analyze test results, publish pragmatic metrics, and facilitate troubleshooting with technical teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Deep understanding of HTTP and web protocols, including protocol-level scripting.
• Experience with API and UI performance testing using JMeter, BlazeMeter, or Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of API virtualization concepts.
• Experience with on-premise versus Cloud (AWS) performance testing strategies.
• Ability to analyze performance logs using ELK or Splunk.
• Skill in CPU and memory bottleneck analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or messaging performance testing.
• Background in performance testing for financial services, microservices, or internal/external applications.
