Description

You own the assessment and optimization of application performance and capacity within a high-throughput, low-latency trading environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to define metrics and data requirements for capacity and performance monitoring.
• Develop and refine models to analyze usage trends and predict future capacity needs.
• Investigate and resolve production issues impacting system performance or client experience.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement performance and scalability improvements.
• Build automated pipelines and reusable scripts to support analytics workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Engineering and Capacity Planning for mission-critical systems.
• Strong expertise in data analysis, modeling, and statistical techniques.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation and analysis.
• Solid understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP and Multicast.
• Proven experience with data visualization platforms like Grafana, Tableau, or Splunk.
• Deep understanding of low-latency, high-throughput environments.
• Ability to drive tool integrations and define data-driven KPIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Capacity Planning.
