Description

You will own performance testing strategy, execution, and optimization for mobile banking applications, ensuring measurable and sustained enhancements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute load, stress, soak, spike, and scalability tests to validate system behavior under varying conditions.
• Implement performance improvements and provide architectural recommendations based on root cause analysis of bottlenecks across app, service, and database layers.
• Define and track key performance metrics including latency, throughput, error rates, and concurrency.
• Produce detailed performance reports with insights, charts, trends, and actionable optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps, and QA teams to resolve performance issues and manage technical dependencies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in performance engineering, with a focus on mobile banking applications.
• Strong proficiency with JMeter, including test plans, correlation, parameterization, assertions, and Groovy/Beanshell scripting.
• Experience with distributed load execution and understanding of REST APIs, JSON payload structures, and authentication.
• Familiarity with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Azure Monitor.
• Ability to review telemetry, debug issues, and identify bottlenecks across multiple layers.
• Good working knowledge of Git for branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Ability to prepare test data and identify environment gaps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
