Description

Lead performance architecture and testing for cloud-native payment network applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute independent performance tests using BlazeMeter and JMeter without developer intervention.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose performance bottlenecks within Java-based microservices.
• Drive end-to-end product development as a Service Architect for payment networks.
• Maintain and present project metrics and reporting for management review.
• Coordinate technical efforts across distributed teams in multiple locations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in performance engineering.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with BlazeMeter, JMeter, and Java Micro Benchmark Harness (JMH).
• Strong background in Full Stack Development including Microservices and Messaging.
• Experience with RDBMS and database performance tuning.
• Proven ability to work within Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Containers and PaaS environments.
• Experience with NATS or equivalent messaging services.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Digital Native Architecture (DNA).
• Background in building online, real-time scalable solutions.
