Lead performance engineering and architectural initiatives for real-time scalable payment network products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance tests for Java applications independently without developer intervention.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex performance bottlenecks across the full stack.
• Drive end-to-end product development as a Service Architect for payment networks.
• Maintain and present project metrics and reporting for management review.
• Coordinate technical efforts between teams located in various geographic regions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in performance engineering and architecture.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with BlazeMeter, JMeter, T3, and Java Micro Benchmark Harness (JMH).
• Experience with Microservices, Messaging (NATS or equivalent), and Cloud Native architectures.
• Strong background in Full Stack development including UI, Reporting, and Database layers.
• Proven ability to implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for code quality.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies in cloud-based environments.
• Proficiency with RDBMS and containerized environments (PaaS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Digital Native Architecture (DNA).
