Description

Lead performance testing efforts to ensure system scalability, resiliency, and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather non-functional requirements and author test plans and strategy documents.
• Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and automated scripts for complex workloads.
• Execute load, stress, spike, scale, and endurance tests to identify bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
• Report and log defects, participate in triage calls, and verify fixes.
• Evaluate the impact of infrastructure changes, such as OS upgrades or hardware maintenance, under workload.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of extensive performance testing experience, specifically in data simulation, load testing, and systems monitoring.
• Proficiency in developing automation and performance scripts using C, Java, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with non-functional testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or CloudTest.
• Strong understanding of test automation and automation frameworks.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of open source tools including Qengine, Loadstorm, or OpenSTA.
• Experience evaluating performance on mobile applications and mobile devices.
