Description

You own performance test development, monitoring, and optimization across frontend and backend systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and build dashboards combining performance and usage metrics.
• Lead the team in establishing shared monitoring practices to proactively identify performance issues.
• Conduct frontend performance testing by integrating Google Lighthouse and capturing Core Web Vital metrics.
• Build and maintain a synthetic load harness for backend performance testing, supporting nightly and on-demand tests.
• Profile slow business transactions and analyze database queries to isolate performance issues.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in performance testing using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Solid experience in API performance testing and backend load validation.
• Proficiency in Java programming for developing test scripts and utilities.
• Proficiency in Ruby programming for developing test scripts and utilities.
• In-depth understanding of database query tuning and profiling slow transactions.
• Experience building synthetic load frameworks and executing scalability and endurance tests.
• Ability to integrate frontend performance testing tools like Google Lighthouse.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools, dashboards, instrumentation, and logging enhancements.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum 7 years in software testing, including 3 years in Java and 1 year in Ruby.
