Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define performance testing strategies, workload models, benchmarks, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Plan and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, volume, and scalability testing for web, mobile, API, and distributed applications.
• Analyze application, database, network, and infrastructure bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis of performance issues.
• Evaluate system metrics, application behavior, logs, JVM activity, and distributed transactions to identify latency and capacity constraints.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD processes, support shift-left performance engineering, and provide actionable performance reports and recommendations.

Skills Required:

• 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in performance testing or performance engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in performance engineering, performance test planning, workload modelling, and non-functional testing.
• Experience assessing scalability, capacity, response times, throughput, concurrency, and resource utilization across distributed applications.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Experience with API performance assessment, monitoring, log analysis, JVM metrics, and performance reporting.

Good to Have:

• Experience with LoadRunner for performance test scripting and execution.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
