Description

You will own the development, execution, and optimization of automated performance load testing for the eGIS project across ArcFM Desktop, Web, and Mobile platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter to simulate real-world user behavior.
• Execute load, stress, and scalability tests while monitoring infrastructure, database, and application performance using APM tools.
• Identify system bottlenecks by analyzing key metrics including TPS, hits/sec, CPU utilization, and memory leaks.
• Analyze and report performance findings to developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to drive optimization.
• Collaborate with IT teams to fine-tune database queries, network configurations, and server performance.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in performance engineering and automated testing.
• Deep expertise in LoadRunner (Controller, VuGen, Performance Center) and JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with API performance testing and proficiency with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or SiteScope.
• Experience with database performance tuning for Oracle and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Web, Citrix, Click & Script, SOAP, RTE, and SAPGUI protocols.
• Experience using Git or Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ability to articulate technical findings and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Background in GIS technologies including ArcFM, ArcGIS Server, Web Adapters, and Mobile GIS.
• Experience with Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Understanding of cloud-based performance testing solutions.
