Description

You will own the development and maintenance of software solutions using Perl, ensuring system stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software solutions and maintain existing applications in a Linux environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, and technical specifications.
• Write and execute tests to validate code functionality and resolve defects.
• Triage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and manage production problems.
• Create, review, and update technical documentation to support system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Thorough understanding of Perl and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Experience writing high-performance SQL with Postgres.
• Demonstrated proficiency in system architecture and database design.
• Strong familiarity with databases and data modeling.
• Knowledge of the product development life cycle from design to deployment.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
