Description

You will design, develop, and test system software for upcoming hardware platforms, owning the lifecycle from design to fleet reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and influence the hardware platform lifecycle from design through deployment.
• Debug complex HW/FW issues across x86, PCIe, NVMe, and networking using lab tools and kernel/driver traces.
• Design and improve remote server management capabilities, including RAS features and management protocols like Redfish/IPMI.
• Develop low-level security features such as Secure Boot and hardware Root of Trust (RoT).

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded or systems software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ (object-oriented design, C++ 11 and onwards).
• Strong Python skills for build/test automation and lab tooling.
• Solid Linux skills, including kernel logs, drivers, and bootloaders.
• Experience with CPU architectures, BMC, BIOS, and PCI-e.
• Hands-on experience with hardware platform bring-up and system-level debugging.
• Ability to root-cause issues across HW/FW/OS boundaries.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with BMC firmware or OpenBMC.
• Experience with Golang and Rust.
