Description

You will design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure and platform services on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver automation software to improve application reliability, availability, and manageability.
• Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices across the team.
• Architect and build self-service, self-healing, and synthetic monitoring platforms with integrated alerting.
• Automate development and test processes through CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Build and maintain container hosting platforms using Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience deploying and maintaining GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Core Java, or Scala.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of relational (Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases.
• Familiarity with cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and messaging (SNS/SQS).
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with systems management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience integrating solutions in multi-region environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
