Description

You will design and implement scalable platform infrastructure to support enterprise modernization efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Re-architect and migrate enterprise Java applications to containerized, cloud-based environments.
• Operate and optimize Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform for asynchronous messaging between microservices.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline enhancements to support automated testing and faster release cycles.
• Integrate infrastructure as code using Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Implement observability best practices using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog for high-availability applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of senior-level experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Proven track record supporting enterprise Java platforms in production environments.
• Hands-on experience refactoring monoliths into microservices and cloud-native design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for managing Java-based workloads.
• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deep familiarity with MongoDB Atlas, Azure SQL, and Apache Kafka.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure and legacy-to-cloud transformation in regulated industries.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, or Jakarta EE.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
