Description

You will own the platform infrastructure, automation pipelines, and internal tooling that power distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain platform infrastructure using Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and enforce infrastructure as code.
• Design and maintain NoSQL and SQL databases at both administrative and architectural levels.
• Create internal software tools to streamline system administration and data manipulation.
• Troubleshoot performance and availability issues using Prometheus and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in application development.
• 4+ years of experience in automation and scripting with Python.
• 8+ years of experience with automation and configuration tools including Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• 8+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• 6+ years of experience deploying production code using Docker containers.
• Experience with AWS and Azure (IaaS and PaaS).
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, Kafka, or Spark.
• Proficiency with Python and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, NATS, Kinesis, or Event Hub.
• Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Apigee, Datadog, or New Relic.
