You will architect and build internal software tools and infrastructure to support large-scale distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes for production environments.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible to provision and configure cloud resources.
• Architect and manage distributed systems and microservices architectures, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop internal software tools and automation scripts to streamline system administration tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues using monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation/configuration management infrastructure.
• 8+ years of experience with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and/or Puppet.
• 6+ years of experience deploying production code using Docker containers.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• 4+ years of experience in application development.
• 4+ years of automation and scripting experience using Python.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases at an administration and architecture level.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure) including IaaS and PaaS.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of distributed architectures such as Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, event streaming, Kafka, or Spark.
• Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka, NATs, Kinesis, or Event Hub.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Apigee, Datadog, or New Relic.
