Description

You will own the design, implementation, and administration of large-scale data platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer complex hybrid cloud applications across Azure data and analytics platforms.
• Build and optimize data pipelines integrating CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment automation.
• Manage and maintain Big Data environments using Spark, Python, and Linux.
• Design and implement large-scale data environments.
• Handle database management and support BI administration tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• 5+ years in platform administration within hybrid cloud environments.
• 3+ years as a Platform Engineer in a Big Data setting.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Python, Linux, and Database Management.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• 2+ years designing and implementing large-scale data environments.
• 1+ year experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
