Description

You will operate and scale a distributed platform of 200+ Java microservices, ensuring reliability, observability, and automation across cloud-native environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage platform releases and automated Kubernetes application reconciliation for 200+ microservices using GitOps principles.
• Implement and maintain GitOps deployment patterns, multi-environment strategies, and progressive delivery with automated rollbacks.
• Integrate FluxCD with Enterprise GitHub, Jenkins, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Kubernetes clusters for continuous delivery.
• Troubleshoot deployment drift, reconciliation failures, and cluster synchronization issues in production.
• Drive operational excellence through SLI/SLO management, incident/problem management, capacity planning, and Root Cause Analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale distributed systems with 200+ microservices.
• Strong hands-on expertise with FluxCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery and Helm-based deployments.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD automation tools including GitHub and Jenkins.
• Experience with Azure ecosystem services, particularly Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Solid understanding of Java ecosystem, Kafka/ActiveMQ messaging, and modern UI applications.
• Knowledge of chaos engineering principles, configuration/secret management, and reliability engineering practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architectures and enterprise-grade database operations.
• Background in managing complex configuration management across multi-environment deployments.
