You will architect and build scalable, resilient platform components for enterprise logistics applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect distributed systems for logistics platforms.
• Develop systems to process telemetry and operational data for real-time decision-making.
• Implement backend services and APIs supporting IoT insights and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure platform high availability and reliability using automation and monitoring.
• Improve system performance for high-volume, time-sensitive freight operations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in software engineering focused on distributed systems and backend platforms.
• Deep knowledge of distributed architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and incident management.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming platforms, distributed caching, and high-throughput systems.
• Familiarity with observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
