Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright in JavaScript/TypeScript for web, API, and cross-browser testing. Integrate frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and ensure 80%+ automation coverage for regression, smoke, and functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust automation frameworks from scratch, applying best practices like Page Object Model, data-driven testing, and parallel execution.
• Translate insurance domain workflows (Policy administration, Claims, Billing, Underwriting) into automated test scenarios in close collaboration with development teams.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect analysis, and reporting with clear traceability using tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and continuously enhance framework architecture for performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on test automation experience with deep expertise in Playwright.
• Minimum 2+ years of domain experience in Insurance applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD integration in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing concepts (functional, regression, API testing).
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire (InsuranceSuite, ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter) or Duck Creek platforms.
• Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, or Postman.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
