Description

Design and maintain scalable end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright for web, API, and cross-browser testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement automation frameworks from scratch using Page Object Model and data-driven testing.
• Integrate frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to ensure 80%+ automation coverage.
• Translate insurance domain workflows into automated test scenarios for regression, smoke, and functional testing.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect analysis, and reporting using Allure or Extent Reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and enhance framework architecture for performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on test automation experience with deep expertise in Playwright.
• Minimum 2+ years of domain experience in Insurance applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD integration in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing concepts.
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire (InsuranceSuite, ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter) or Duck Creek platforms.
• Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, or Postman.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
