Description

Role Overview:

Seeking senior QA Automation engineers with extensive experience in modern test automation frameworks and hands-on software engineering practices. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in framework design, API automation, CI/CD integration, scalable test architecture, asynchronous workflow handling, dynamic data validation, flaky test analysis, parallel execution, and quality ownership across the SDLC. This role is for a Techno-Functional Quality Engineer, requiring strong analytical thinking, debugging skills, and the ability to design maintainable, production-ready automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable components.
  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design and execute functional, integration, progression, and regression test scenarios.
  • Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Ensure quality ownership across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Design and implement maintainable, production-ready automation solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript and/or Python.
  • Proven expertise in UI, API, and Database test automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with API testing tools, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab), Git, and test reporting frameworks.
  • Expertise in Automation Framework Architecture, Design & Scalability.
  • Proficiency in Parallel Test Execution, Flaky Test Analysis & Stabilization.
  • Ability to handle Dynamic Data & Timestamp, End-to-End Workflow Automation, and Synchronization (Waits, Polling, Retries).
  • Solid understanding of functional testing and Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in QA Automation engineering.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
  • Experience with Mainframe testing, including validation of legacy applications and integration testing with distributed systems.
  • Experience with AI-assisted test automation tools or intelligent automation frameworks
