Description

You will design, develop, and optimize database systems on the Oracle platform. You own the full lifecycle of data architecture, from modeling to performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance frameworks for data load, unload, export, import, and purging processes.
• Optimize database throughput and concurrency using SQL query tuning, caching, and indexing strategies.
• Build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses and operational databases.
• Monitor database locks, long-running queries, and tablespace sizes to ensure system stability.
• Manage lower environments including UAT, QA, and Dev, performing regular data refreshes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in PL/SQL development and Oracle database platforms.
• Expertise in writing stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Deep knowledge of database architecture, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and partitioning.
• Proven experience in Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting and backend programming.
• Experience in Oracle DBA tasks, including management, backup, restore, migration, and upgrades.
• Ability to analyze query plans and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of data management and governance policies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle in-memory or Oracle TDE features.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata, Snowflake, Sybase IQ, MongoDB, or ETL tools.
• Cloud and Snowflake certifications.
