Description

Lead the design and delivery of plumbing and fire protection systems for domestic, commercial, and international projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Produce coordinated detailed design specifications for concept and preliminary engineering solutions.
• Design sanitary, waste, vent, rainwater drainage, and domestic hot/cold/return water systems.
• Engineer standpipes and sprinkler systems while ensuring coordination across all building services disciplines.
• Manage workloads for Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians, including quality verification.
• Communicate directly with clients, conduct site surveys, and monitor the financial performance of assigned jobs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of plumbing and fire protection engineering experience.
• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Deep understanding of IPC, NFPA, and related plumbing standards, with awareness of UPC.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and BIM360.
• Experience with sustainable design, including rainwater harvesting, black/grey water systems, and electrification.
• Ability to analyze building codes in new or unfamiliar jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage schematic design through construction administration.
• Broad design knowledge working on a wide range of US and international projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in lab, healthcare, commercial office, or residential sectors.
• Membership in ASPE or ISPPE, or accreditation as a Certified Plumbing Designer or LEED AP.
