Description

You will manage and optimize PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases within Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Tune PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases running on Azure to ensure optimal performance.
• Design, create, and maintain highly available and secure database instances.
• Execute routine database administration, maintenance tasks, and document all upgrades and procedures.
• Mentor developers on database best practices and support technical implementation.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of PostgreSQL DBA experience in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in managing databases on Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Expertise in optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Storage Accounts.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience implementing high-availability solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale cloud infrastructure migrations.
