Description

Manage PostgreSQL databases during a large-scale migration from Oracle to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute data migration from Oracle DB to PostgreSQL environments.
• Manage and support AWS Aurora and RDS PostgreSQL instances.
• Troubleshoot database issues and identify root causes for performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance to handle heavy data volumes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora and RDS PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL DBA tasks.
• Advanced SQL skills for performance tuning and optimization.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
• Experience managing high-volume data environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
