Description

Lead the architecture, implementation, and administration of Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions, from backend data warehousing to front-end analytics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement role-based security, Active Directory integration, and data privacy levels.
• Build and manage cluster-based, failover-supported Power BI infrastructure, including server sizing and configuration.
• Develop administrative PowerShell scripts for automation, license management, auditing, and log management.
• Architect back-end data integrations using dimensional data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
• Deliver front-end analytics through report development, dashboarding, and tabular data modeling.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack.
• Extremely strong SQL skills.
• Expertise in Power BI Report development, Power Pivot, and Power View.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling, database design, and ETL development.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for administrative automation.
• Knowledge of OLAP cube design and tabular data modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Power BI Mobile App deployment and usage monitoring.
• Ability to perform performance tuning, server sizing, and automated retention/purging of server files.
