Description

You will design and build scalable analytics solutions, owning the end-to-end lifecycle from data acquisition to executive storytelling. You partner with business SMEs to translate requirements into performant semantic models and dashboards that support decision-making across large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex Power BI dashboards and semantic models optimized for high-volume data and enterprise performance.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica, SSIS, or Spark to ensure reliable data ingestion and transformation.
• Develop reusable DAX measures and Power Query (M) logic, ensuring standardized KPIs and efficient data modeling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical needs, communicating progress, insights, and technical tradeoffs.
• Maintain Tableau dashboards where required, while establishing Power BI as the primary analytics platform.

Required Skills

• 7-10+ years of professional experience in software development or data engineering, with a strong focus on data modeling.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and enterprise semantic model design.
• Strong SQL skills (querying, tuning, modeling) across MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Redshift in high-transaction environments.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or Spark for building pipeline-driven analytics.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and scaling BI workloads in enterprise settings.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataflows, or Fabric) for end-to-end pipeline creation.
• Python experience for statistics, data analysis, or ML/AI enablement.
