Description

Design and deploy visual data-driven solutions to answer complex business questions using the Microsoft BI stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and thoughtful visualizations using Power BI and the Azure stack.
• Build performant calculations in SQL, DAX, and Power BI measures to handle large datasets.
• Design data architectures and models, including structuring tables, attributes, and complex relationships.
• Manage the Power BI Service experience, including dataflows, datamarts, content distribution, and administration.
• Collaborate with business partners to document requirements and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Power BI development, visualization, and deployment.
• 8+ years of experience with the Microsoft BI stack: T-SQL, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, M, MDX, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
• 8+ years of experience working with SQL Server relational databases.
• 5+ years of experience documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Proficiency in extracting, cleansing, and reshaping data from various sources via exploratory data analysis.
• Strong ability to use M language for advanced tasks like building loops and pulling APIs.
• Experience managing Power BI Service components including Dashboards and Apps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Statistics, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Cloud or Snowflake experience.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including functions, macros, and VBA.
