Description

You design and build scalable analytics solutions, owning the end-to-end lifecycle from data acquisition to executive storytelling. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex Power BI dashboards and semantic models optimized for high-volume data.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica, SSIS, or Spark for reliable data ingestion.
• Develop reusable DAX measures and Power Query (M) logic to ensure standardized KPIs and efficient modeling.
• Partner with business SMEs to translate requirements into performant analytics that support decision-making.
• Maintain Tableau dashboards where required while establishing Power BI as the primary platform.

Required Skills

• 7-10+ years of professional experience in software development or data engineering with a focus on data modeling.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and enterprise semantic model design.
• Strong SQL skills (querying, tuning, modeling) across MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Redshift in high-transaction environments.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or Spark.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and scaling BI workloads in enterprise settings.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataflows, or Fabric) for end-to-end pipeline creation.
• Python experience for statistics, data analysis, or ML/AI enablement.
