Description

You will design and optimize Power BI reports, datasets, and semantic models for complex data environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI Desktop reports and datasets using Power Query and Tabular Model design.
• Write DAX measures and build semantic models, optimizing datasets for performance.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce data access controls.
• Build and validate data transformations and integrations using SQL against Snowflake and Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical findings to leadership and client stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Power BI and analytics engineering.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service for data preparation and reporting.
• Strong expertise in Tabular Model design, implementation, and semantic modeling fundamentals.
• Advanced DAX query development and performance tuning for measures and datasets.
• SQL proficiency (including ANSI-SQL) with experience writing complex queries.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake and Oracle database environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating GitHub with Power BI for versioning and deployment workflows.
• Domain knowledge in the insurance sector.
