Description

You will design, model, and test power electronics systems for motor control and conversion applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and test AC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems.
• Perform system modeling, simulation, and verification using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Conduct prototype testing on hardware-in-loop systems, variable speed drives, and chillers.
• Set up lab equipment including oscilloscopes and DMMs to gather results.
• Document test findings and create detailed technical reports.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience with a BS or 5 years with an MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in power electronics design.
• Proven expertise in AC-DC and DC-AC conversion.
• Hands-on experience with motor control design and testing.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation.
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMM.
• Ability to conduct hardware-in-loop system testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing variable speed drives and chillers.
