Description

You will maintain and enhance the HiCAMS mission-critical client-server application, managing the full software development life cycle from requirements to QA.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Code and test data windows to replace legacy spreadsheet formats.
• Develop and test bug fixes and functional system enhancements.
• Design SharePoint and web-based solutions for Preconstruction and Scoping business processes.
• Manage the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, unit testing, and QA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Sybase is a plus, but other database platforms are acceptable.
• Experience working with a custom base-class.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in a remote software development environment.
• Proven ability to communicate technical applications to business users and business processes to IT users.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Development experience in C# or Java.
• Experience coding stored procedures and triggers.
• Experience developing in a Visual Studio environment or performing data conversions.
